NATO is a group of like-minded individuals in the Atlanta area dedicated to the tabletop wargaming hobby. We play at several stores in and around the metro Atlanta area. We classify ourselves as experienced tournament players, but we are always interested in bringing new players in, no matter the skill level. Our members experience level ranges from newbie to 20+ years. We have a laid-back group and enjoy casual gaming as well as competitive gaming.We enjoy several different game systems, which include the following: Warhammer ,Warhammer 40K, Battle Fleet Gothic, Epic, Necromunda, Mordheim, Blood Bowl, Space Hulk, Field of Glory, DBM, Flames of War, Warmachine, Hordes, AT-43, Munchkin, Car Wars, Formula De, and many others.
Because we have such a diverse selection of games we play in the group, it is best to try and pre-arrange your game with your opponents on the discussion forum in advance of showing up.
NATO hosts a discussion forum to schedule games, discuss rules, find out about special events, and discuss what is going on in the area. NATO also hosts an Atlanta Area Events calendar to find out what events are coming up, including local and national tournaments. Finally, over the next few days the site will host a gallery page for NATO members to post pictures of what they are working on and showing off their favorite army.

Everyone on the net knew it was coming, so here it is. Space Hulk is now up for pre-order. It a limited edition box set that look comparable to the older box sets as far as content. The figs look pretty good, so it may be worth getting a new version if you are a fan of the older game. |

| I have updated the CAPTCHA function of our board. This will make it a little harder for the spam bots to keep registering. It also means that you will have to look a little closer at the characters during registration. This should help cut down on the spam traffic we are getting. |

| We're going to be making a few changes to the web site in the comming weeks. Currently, it only host the groups forum. Check back on the front page over the coming weeks, as we'll bring bringing new features online. To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, We'll soon be creating member blogs, member photo galleries, and an online calendar to contain most of the local and major events going on. |
